Terms of Service

Effective 10 September 2026. Your order form, where one exists, takes precedence.

1. The service

Tenure provides a cloud software service comprising a dashboard, APIs, widgets, SDKs, developer tools and integrations that help subscription businesses retain customers at the moment of cancellation. Use of the service is governed by these terms and, where one exists, your order form or customer agreement, which takes precedence.

2. Your account and workspace

You are responsible for the people you invite to your workspace, for keeping API keys and the widget signing secret confidential, and for the accuracy of the customer and billing data you connect. Owners and admins may change configuration that affects your customers' billing; assign those roles carefully.

3. Customer data

Data about your subscribers that you send to Tenure (customer records, cancel sessions, offer outcomes) is Customer Data. You are the controller; Tenure processes it only to provide the service, on your instructions, and never to train models. Our Privacy Policy describes the details, including subprocessors and retention.

4. Billing changes

Tenure executes offers and cancellations in your billing system only from offers you approved and only after an explicit customer acceptance, using credentials you supplied. You remain responsible for the commercial terms of every offer in your library and for compliance with consumer-protection rules in your markets (including click-to-cancel requirements, which the widget can enforce).

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to deceive customers, to obstruct cancellations, to send unsolicited email, or to process data you have no right to process. Do not attempt to access other workspaces, reverse engineer the service, or overload it. We may suspend workspaces that break these rules.

6. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted service. The widget is designed to fail safe: if Tenure is unreachable, your customer's cancellation proceeds normally. A health endpoint and audit log are provided so you can verify behaviour.

7. Fees

Fees are set out on our pricing page and are based on cancel sessions, or in your order form where one exists.

8. Termination and export

You may export your data at any time (CSV exports, the warehouse export API and data-subject endpoints) and delete your workspace. On termination we delete Customer Data within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Tenure's liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months before the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms with notice in the dashboard. Questions: support@trytenure.co. Security issues: security@trytenure.co.
